The July level of 219.964 (1982-84=100) was 5.6 share high than in July 2007. The Consumer expense Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) increased 0.5 percent in July, prior to seasonal adjustment. The July level of 216.304 (1982-84=100) was 6.2 percent higher than in July 2007. The Chained Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (C-CPI-U) increased 0.4 percent in July on a non season whollyy adjusted basis.
