Every facility has an organizational complex body part that is the foundation, which use banner routines and protocols for that organization. Colleton Medical Center is a small rural hospital that is affiliated with HCA Corporation. The organizational structure that we use at this facility is parallel structure. This type of structure uses a formal administration and at that place is the management of the checkup staff. In our facility, we have the CEO who report to the stockholders, which is HCA Corporation. Then there is the director of each department that is in charge of his or her department. Each director falls under the CEO of the facility.



In a parallel structure, the medical staff is separate and self-directed from the organization (2009). The result is an organizational dilemma: two lines of authority. iodin line extends from the government body to the chief executive ships officer and then to the managerial structure; the other line extends from the governing body to the medical staff (2009). This type of organizational structure is not as popular in hospitals. Many facilities are starting to integrate physicians support as a appurtenant in the organizational structure.
