Metropolitan Museum of Art

This hotel was build for Marie Charlotte de Béthune-Charost, who was the widow of Comte René de Tessé. The affirmer of this magnificent hotel was Louis Letellier. The interior of the hotel room was astounding. It was a characteristic conceptualization of French Neoclassicism. The aspects of Neoclassicism were really evident throughout the room.

The room was murkily lit, as the only source of light was one single, watch glass chandelier and several hanging candles on atomic number 79 candlesticks that hung from the walls.
