The nature, the origin, and the purpose be very different in both sources. R1 is very asseverateative, un dyed and very educational but on the other hand R2 is more biased and insulting to some race at the time. R1 is a collect account however R2 is a pictorial piece of cartoon. R1 is a secondary source which was written decades after the Vietnam War whereas R2 is a primary source as it was printed out during the Vietnam War. In par both sources show that the War divided the American take in because R1 says The Vietnam contend divided the American sight. It often resulted in enmity between those who supported the struggle and those who contradictory it. R2 shows that the American people divided into two separate radicals, one who was the elder civilians who were represent as the wiser and more realistic ones of the War an d the other congregation was the young group who were the unrealistic people. Both representative shows that dovishics debate the war; in R1 it explains that the pacifists opposed the war as they believed that the war and the killing were morally wrong.

While in R2 it portrayed the pacifist as stupid, as there is a younger hide who is holding a sign saying Its a vexatious War in Vietnam! and then you have a wiser looking for old man arguing that none of the Wars are vindicated.
